A young women knees on a trial, her hands cupped before her. Her head is hung low so not to offend her passer bye, those who are above her in rank. Her clothes are tattered and her face is that of pain and sadness. Her face a fair, and beutiful, but she does not smile. Duel katana swords lay besides her, but the blades are rusted and falty, so they are no threat to anyone around her. SHe sighs softly as it begans to rain, and her hands that are out for money, are now being filled with worthless water.

Satsumi walked past a young woman who she thought was quite pretty. I wonder what she's doing on the street. Satsumi thought to herself. She turned around and looked back at the girl and ran up to her. "Are you okay?" Satsumi whispered to her. "What do you want?" Satsumi offers the girl her umbrella, hoping she would take it. "You should go home."

The young women turned her gaze up. Ignoring the umbrella, she spoke in a whisper.
"I have no home... have you any money? I have none...."

"Would you like to stay with me? I can get you a job if you want." Satsumi looked down sadly at the girl, wanting so much to actually have a friend to trust and to play with and hang out with.

Mirany traveled with quiet steps down the paved gravel road. She sighed, looking at the sky as it began to rain. Her small steps quickened and turned to a run as the drops fell upon her, the moisture seeping into her thick hair and curling it slightly at the bottom. She hated the rain and had always hated it, so right now, the only thought on her mind was to get out of it. She clutched her katana to her back, making sure it didn't fall off as she ran, and then she slowed down, noticing someone crouching on the side of the street. Her steps faltered as she swerved her direction and walked towards the two people. She thought about how horrible it felt to be in the rain, and how horrible these people must feel since they weren't even trying to get out of the rain. "Are you alright?" she asked quietly to the people, keeping her gaze down as she always did when approaching those who looked older than her.

Raven's hair matted to her face from the rain. Her hands now held a pool of water, and her tears were no longer visable. Rain didn't bother her, in fact, it was normal to her. She almost loved it, after all, it hid her tears, and hid her tears well. "I'm... fine... Money? Spare change?" She looked down at the ground to respect their superiority.

Mirany gasped, realizing what the girl wanted. She frantically searched her pockets and pulled out a few coins, and then opened her small leather pouch and threw the coins in there, placing it in the girl's cupped hands. "Here you go..." she said, still not making eye contact.

Raven's breath caught in her throat, then, her smile spread like wild fire. She closed her fists around the money and hld it close to her chest, weeping. "Bless you, sweet soul." She rocked to anf fro with her newest possesions as tears flowed down her face.

Satsumi looked at the girl, while reaching in her pocket to get a handful of coins and dropping them at the girls feet.

Raven scrounged them up like they were her life. She gathered them in her hand one after another, then fell foward onto her chest and wept. This was what she was now, a begger. A worthless homeless girl who would go after a few pennies like a vulture at a scrap of food. Food... she remembered being able to eat her fill, now she was lucky if warm food hit her lips more than once in her life time. She closed her eyes and continued to cry into the allready damp ground.

She had stopped crying now, and gently shook her head. She had money, real money that she could by real food with, and new clothes. She didn't see what esle they could give her. They had already givin' her a the world.
