"Yeah. Sure. I'll bring you to the store." Katsuko walked to the door, grabbing his wallet, and holding the door open for Mirany.

"Yup." Katsuko lead Mirany farther into the village where there was a few stores. "Here we are." Katsuko held out a $10 bill to Mirany. "I'll wait out here. You can pick out a bathing suit inside."

"No, I couldn't take your money!" Mirany said, realizing that she had just come into this stranger's life, and yet she was living with him and borrowing his money. "I--I'll pay for it myself," she said, fishing out four one dollar bills and a few cents from her pocket. "I'm sure this will be enough for a bathing suit," she said, counting the change. When she finished, she held up the money and proudly said, "Four dollars and seventeen cents!"

"I'm sure!" she said, smiling cheerfully. She turned around and walked into the shop, and looked around on the walls and racks. To her surprise, there were no one-piece bathing suits. As she browsed, she picked the closest thing to anything that wasn't a bikini. She went to the register and found it was pretty cheap, but the price on the price tag was written in a language she could not understand. She gave the man at the desk her money, and he took all of it. Walking out of the shop with her bathing suit in a bag in her hand, she waved and smiled to Katsuko. "I'm all done!"

"Okay. Where do you want to be changed? There's bathrooms at the river or you can come back to my house" Katsuko said as Mirany walked out.

"Okay. You can change at my house since it's on the way to the river." Katsuko said as he started to turn around to walk to his house.

"Okay," Mirany said, and started to follow him. When they got to the house, she went up to the room he had given her and came out a few minutes later. "How do I look?" she asked, embarrassed. She was wearing a two piece bathing suit; the top was black with pink outlines of cherry blossoms and sort of like a tank top except it ended a little above her bellybutton, and the bottom was like plain black shorts and a skirt with a light pink outline on the hem.

"You look fine. It fits you well." Katsuko laughed as he saw her face turn red. He walked down the stairs and called up to Mirany. "Are you ready?"

Katsuko started walking straight. "The river is this way." Then he turned left and started walking again.
